What can you do with WIDI Uhost?
Fully Standalone. Completely Wireless.
100% BLE MIDI for Class Compliant USB MIDI devices
When using WIDI Uhost as a USB host, it supports standard plug-and-play ”class compliant" USB MIDI devices.
Please note the following "special cases" to ensure your WIDI Uhost will operate as expected:
1. USB client devices that require the installation of special drivers are not compatible.
2. USB client devices with multiple (virtual) MIDI ports will only function on the first USB MIDI port.
3. When using a USB hub, WIDI Uhost will only operate as a USB client device not as a USB host.
4. To add USB host functionality to MIDI controllers you will need USB OTG cables.
USB MIDI to MIDI
Pair your USB MIDI hardware wirelessly with any standalone MIDI device using one (1) WIDI Uhost unit and one (1) WIDI Master/Jack unit.

USB MIDI to Windows / Android / Chrome OS / Linux
Pair your USB MIDI hardware wirelessly with your Windows / Android / Chrome OS / Linux with two (2) WIDI Uhost units

WIDI Groups
Simply set up WIDI groups via the WIDI App or with the group auto-learn mode.
Create fixed pairs when working with multiple wireless MIDI connections at once.
Easily configure advanced WIDI groups of up to 5 Bluetooth MIDI devices with one (1) central WIDI device and up to four (4) peripherals over 16 MIDI channels.
Run multiple groups at once with automatic pairing from default memory.

USB MIDI to iOS/macOS
Pair your USB MIDI hardware wirelessly with your iOS/MacOS device using one (1) WIDI Uhost unit. Or add a 2nd WIDI Uhost to benefit from even better performance and automatic pairing.

What can WIDI Uhost do for you?
Solution 1
Connect USB MIDI devices with Bluetooth MIDI operating systems
Plug WIDI Uhost with your class compliant USB MIDI device and transmit MIDI over Bluetooth between your MIDI hardware and BLE MIDI devices.

Solution 2
Connect MIDI devices with USB host
Plug WIDI Uhost in the USB host port of your MIDI instrument and add advanced Bluetooth MIDI to your MIDI hardware.

Solution 3
Connect computer and smart device without Bluetooth MIDI
Plug WIDI Uhost in the USB port of your computer and ensure ultra low latency Bluetooth MIDI without having to upgrade your PC, tablet or smartphone.

What industry leaders say about us
I was lucky enough to be able to start working with a pair of prototype WIDI adapters from CME. They worked flawlessly and transparently. For example, I immediately had our flagship synthesizer, the Moog ONE, controlling and being controlled by our older MIDI instruments and vintage MIDI controllers.

CYRIL LANCE
CTO MOOG Music
CME's WIDI is the first Bluetooth MIDI adapter that can perform as both a “peripheral” or “central” device, allowing fast, low-latency, and stable point-to-point wireless connections between any two devices.

TOM WHITE
Former President of MMA
I (Roger) have tested WIDI and found it to be well-designed, fast, easy to use and low-cost. Interestingly, CME have figured out how to get the latency down to as low as 3 ms, which is quite an accomplishment. In my test playing 3-note chords and melody with 3D MPE expression, I didn't perceive any added latency or delays normally associated with Bluetooth.
